I am a blackberry fan, but they seem to have grown out of touch with what consumers are looking for. Nothing summed that up more then the recent release of their latest phone the Torch. Physically beautiful with a decent sized touch screen, nice slide out keyboard, and new OS 6 operating system the Torch looked to bring RIM up to speed. Instead they decided to give it a last gen performance hampering 6000MHz processor, and a 480x360 resolution screen. They are now trying to quickly correct their mistakes with the Torch 2. The new phone will have a 1.2Ghz processor, a 640x480 display, 8GB of built in memory 512MB or RAM, and OS 6.1 added to the same phone body with a matte finish instead of the old shiny one. These specs should put the phones performance in line with the newest smartphones. Look for it in Q3 on At&t.
