Have you ever been playing Call of Duty and wanted to smell the sweat, bullets and death? No, well me neither. Scent Science thinks differently, they have developed this little box filled with scent cartridges that can produce 20 scents. Using a combination of hardware, software algorithms and chemistry you plug the system into your computer via USB and smell away. The user will be able to manage the strength of the scent with a "volume" control. You will also be able to create your own scents by with Scent Sciences Scent editor application. While I acknowledge that smells certainly would add a more visceral effect to watching movies and playing games. I'm just not sure I want it too. They haven't mentioned anything about whether the machine will produce bad smells or not. Look for the device to be released later this year.
