Verizon iPhone to be announced on the 11th... FINALLY!

Verizon has been rumored to be getting the iPhone for months now, and they finally have it.  The most popular smartphone available (the iPhone) is no longer AT&T exclusive.  The device is scheduled to be officially announced January 11th at a small  Verizon press conference.  I am curious to see whether the phone will be LTE compatible, I doubt it but that certainly would be a nice addition and would further drive the stake into AT&T's heart.  If you are planning on running out and getting the iPhone 4 you might want to reconsider being as that we are already into the new year and the iPhone 5 will certainly be announced in the next coming months.  Check back Tuesday for all the official news from the Steve Jobs/Verizon press conference.
