The best video media player is now available for the iPad. One of the most annoying things about the iPad and iPod/phone lineup is converting video files to play on Apple devices. In a surprise move Apple has accepted and released the VLC app and it is currently available for download. VLC allows you to play virtually any media format you can think of, and it has always been a very lightweight but feature heavy program. It is also set to be released for the iPhone shortly.
