Powerful Asus Eee Slate EP121 set to run Windows 7

Yesterday Asus announced what they are calling the worlds most powerful tablet, the Eee Slate EP121.  Judging by the specs they have provided they are right.  The tablet has a 12.1-inch screen with a 1280x800 resolution.  It is rocking a Core i5-470UM processor, and runs Windows 7 Home Premium.  The hard drive is a 64GB SSD, and the tablet has 4GB of ram.  There hasn't been any mention of graphics yet.  The tablet also has a digitizer which allows for the included stylus to be used, you can see it pictured in the right shot.  The Slate will be priced between $999-$1,099.  Companies (except apple) are still struggling to find the right OS for tablets.  Each one has it's advantages and disadvantages.  Personally I like Windows 7 on a tablet because you can run any program as apposed to just the OS's apps.  Hopefully when Microsoft releases Windows 8 this will all be put to rest.
