The new Macbook Air has been announced. It comes in two flavors, 11.6 inches and 13.3 inches. They feature either a 64GB or 128GB SSD for the smaller, and a 128GB or 256GB SSD for the larger. You can configure them with either 2GB or 4GB of ram. Both surprisingly use older Core 2 duo processors. The 11.6 inch comes with either a 1.4GHz or 1.6GHz processor, while the 13 inch comes with 1.86GHz or 2.13Ghz. The smaller version weighs in at 2.3lbs, and the larger weighs 2.9lbs. Both have LED backlit displays, with 1366x768 resolution for the smaller, and 1440x900 resolution for the larger. All models have Nvidia GeForce 320M graphics. Obviously both models are paper thin, coming in at .68 inches at there thickest in the back, and .11 inches in the front. They feature the now standard Aluminum unibody construction.
