LG has certainly raised the bar with this one. This 31-inch OLED TV is stunning. OLED technology allows for superior contrast ration, brightness, colors, and sharpness over any other existing TV tech. The problem is that it's super expensive, and still can only be produced in smaller sizes. The largest OLED TV currently available being 15-inches. This 31-inch however is being shown off at IFA 2010 this week and is actually set to be released to the public. It measures 2.8mm thick, yes I said 2.8mm. All of the connections along with the tuner are housed in the base of the TV. Pricing and release date have yet to be announced.
