Chevy Volt Charger Priced

If you are looking to get the upcoming Chevy Volt, you will need a way to charge your new car.  Chevy has announced and priced the "Voltec".  The 240V in home charger has been moderately priced at $490.  The problem comes with the installation, which runs around $1500.  So tab that up to $2000 extra for gas independence.  The dilema comes in that you can charge the Volt from a standard outlet, it just takes 10 hours.  While charging from the Voltec takes around 4.  Oh decisions, decisions.
