Sony makes worlds first 16.41 megapixel cellphone camera sensor

Sony has made a 16.41 megapixel CMOS sensor for cellphones and other mobile devices.  The sensor is capable of shooting 1080p video at 30fps.  The sensor is back illuminated like the popular iPhone 4's sensor.  Maybe phones equipped in with this sensor can finally take down the iPhone's camera.  You can see some sample shots on Sony's site, just follow the link.  Sony
