Zack Snyder reportedly will be the director of the upcoming Superman reboot. The movie is being produced by Christopher Nolan and Emma Thomas, with Nolan's brother Jonathan, and David S. Goyer doing the writing. Snyder of 300 and Watchmen fame, has a unique and somewhat dark style. It will be interesting to see how this translates into the lighter themed superman stories. Personally I think he is a great choice, and with the production staff and writers on board already this is shaping up to be a much better offering then the dreadful Superman Returns. The Villain is supposedly going to be General Zod, and Snyder has already said that Brandon Routh most likely will not be getting another shot at the Superman Role. Too bad for Routh, I thought he was solid in Returns. Seemed more like the script and the story held the character back. Check back in the coming months for more Superman info.
